A fun time for pre-schoolers

Mainly Music is a fun, interactive music session for parents and caregivers and their young children.

The music session is for 30 minutes and is followed by morning tea for both children and adults. Toys are available to ensure the children have an unstructured social time after the music session. During this time, adults have the opportunity to connect with other adults in the same life stage.

Creating wonderful memories

Fun is a vital ingredient of the weekly program. Mothers dancing along with their baby or young child, having fun, looking silly, and not caring the least. Being with children can be very freeing - we need to make the most of it.

We see mainly music as a link to ongoing memories of their children's childhood and a link to the love that God has for each one of us.

Families are important

A key focus of Mainly Music is nurturing parents. More than ever parents need to honoured, supported, encouraged and celebrated. Parenting toddlers can be stressful and demanding. At the point where parents most need help and support, many are very isolated.

Mainly Music seeks to provide a sense of visability, providing an environment where 'mothers are important' and in the wider sense 'families are important'.

When is it? The cost?

The program is held every Friday from 10 am during the four school terms.
