About Us

Our church is a partnership of the Berwick Community Baptist Church and the Nazaret Spanish Speaking Baptist Church.

We moved into our new property in Narre Warren North in early 2005, and our ministry partnership commenced then. The purpose of our partnership, under God, is to more effectively 'make more disciples of Jesus Christ.' Both congregations were established about 16 years ago - the Berwick Church used a rented public hall in Berwick and the Nazaret Church met in another church's property in Dandenong.

Part of a world-wide family!

Both churches are members of the Baptist family of churches in Victoria and Australia, and the history of our Christian movement in Australia goes back 150 years. There are 900 Baptist congregations throughout Australia. Our church is also part of a world-wide community of Baptist Christians numbering 47 million living in more than 200 countries throughout the world.

We have a heart for those who have no church home. Many people today are disillusioned by organised religion. Some have seen hypocrisy. Others have had no spiritual background or experience and therefore see Christianity as irrelevant. What we seek to offer to people in our community are healthy responsible relationships with mature followers of Jesus. God cares deeply for people and we care deeply too.
